Kate grew up in Annapolis and spent 15 years training, coaching, and competing both locally and nationally. She is currently competing in the dressage with her horse, Alfie. She also has a background showing in the Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation Divisions, as well as Morgan horses. Before joining the DEC family, she was on staff at the Salisbury Zoo and had the opportunity to work with a variety of exotic animals. She has enjoyed being back in the equine industry, and in her downtime can be found at her home farm in Salisbury with her husband, Matt, and dogs Homer, Daisy, and Roo.
