Equine Technician

Krystle Bartow

Krystle was born in Gloucester County, NJ, where her passion for animals started at a young age and was encouraged by her parents. She began riding at 12 years old in the Hunter/Jumpers division, while also doing some western riding and games. Krystle graduated from Wilson College in 2010 with degrees in both Equine Studies and Equine Facilitated Therapeutics, with a minor in Business Management. While attending college, Krystle trained under a USDF silver medalist and switched disciplines to dressage. Throughout college she competed with a mare she leased named “Solid Mahogany”, and her own mare “Tiramisu” through First Level.

Shortly after college, Krystle moved to Delaware and accepted a position of veterinary assistant with us here at Delmarva Equine Clinic. While working as a veterinary assistant she developed her passion for anesthesia, surgery, and neonatology. Krystle joined our practice in June 2010, and spent 8 years as a veterinary assistant. As our practice grew, we were in need of a second administrative assistant, which Krystle accepted with open arms.

She has always had a passion for education and client relations, and she enjoys fostering better client interactions and helping owners to provide the best care possible. Krystle has scaled back recently due to the birth of her children. Krystle is around on Saturdays when she runs the equine office during our staff hours of 8 am to noon. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Matt Bartow and their kids, shooting traditional archery, and riding her two horses Hope and Kylee.
